Education Committee

The Education and Schools Committee advocates for and works to:

 

1.  Create more integrated schools by increasing BIPOC representation of students and staff, while also building a culturally competent, inclusive and equitable school environment for all. Watch PREC’s panel on “The Impact of Race and Segregation on Piedmont Schools.”

 

2. Incorporate culturally responsive and anti-racist curriculum in K-12 schools.

 

3. Support the district and school board to ensure that all key aspects of the PUSD Racial Equity policy are implemented.
